Facing a 4-year-old child with congenital glaucoma who needed corneal endothelial transplantation, the medical team used child-friendly communication to ease fear – describing the surgery as a fun little game and comparing the doctors to powerful wizards, filling the young patient with courage. Post-surgery, to gain the child's cooperation during recovery, they called the eye drops "magic potion." Under the care of the healthcare staff, the young patient's surgery was very successful, and they were discharged full of hope for the future on their road to recovery.
